The Academic Policy Committee (APC) of The Watershed School

Alaska public charter schools differ from neighborhood public schools in that each charter has an APC that supervises its academic operation and ensures the fulfillment of the mission and specific levels of achievement for its educational program. Watershed’s APC is responsible for policy/procedure setting (attendance and volunteering requirements, calendar changes, major budgeting decisions, lottery procedures, etc.) and other tasks such as completing our charter and lease renewals.
